WELCOME TO THE BREAMORE RIDE 2010
The photo above, taken by AGC Photography, shows the exciting racing finish of Class 1 at this year’s ride.
IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT MINOR ROUTE CHANGE FOR CLASSES 1, 2, 4 AND 5 - SEE CLASS PAGES
THE BREAMORE RIDE has been in existence since the 1970s, originally run by EHPS, with an ER in 1975.
The ride’s original home was on Breamore Marshes, not far from Breamore house, but to improve facilities moved to the spacious Tenantry Farm in 1997, with kind permission of Rob McLeod.
Several stalwart Organisers have looked after the Breamore ride over the years, and we hope you will continue to support this old established favourite under new management of Joanne Wallis Baga, and the Mid South Group Committee.
This years route will take in some delightful scenery over the Breamore Estates, and finish on the UK Chasers course at Tenantry Farm. We are very grateful to Rob McLeod for the use of Tenantry Farm and the UK Chasers course, and to The Breamore Estates for permission to use parts of the estate.
Please visit Breamore House while you are in the area-a magnificent Elizabethan house situated in the quaint village of Breamore, complete with picture postcard cottages.

The Ossie Hare Memorial Trophy is awarded to the winner of the ER.
Ossie Hare was, for many years, the Organiser of Breamore Ride when it was run from the marshes under EHPS, long before EGB!
All the classes on Sunday will be scored on the Rufus System, successfully used to determine placings at the New Forest Rufus Ride, and The Silver Gambler series run by the Mid South Group. Details in your rider pack. So lots of extra rosettes and awards!
The venue is easy to get to and there is plenty of space for camping and corralling. There are many good pubs within a few miles of the venue and also plenty of accommodation in the area which you will find on www.salisbury.gov.uk/leisure
We are planning a BBQ if there are enough of you camping!
Stabling onsite – ERs have priority
The route is mainly over bridleways, tracks and droves with both of the vetgates at the venue.
There are plenty of places for crewing except on the last loop where there will be facilities for ER crews ONLY.
